Mustique Sightseeing Travel Guide and Pictures
Mustique Holidays & Day Trips
Mustique in the Grenadines, makes a fabulous Caribbean island-hopping day trip from Barbados by small plane.
Mustique is a private island and a holiday playground for the rich and famous, including Mick Jagger and the English Royal Family.
Mustique holidays provide a great opportunity to escape from the rat-race many of its European visitors have to endure daily. Mustique is 18 miles South of St. Vincent and only some 110 miles west of Barbados and hence only a short flight away.
One thing that is clear when visiting Mustique from the outset is that it really is a private island and it is not part of any package holiday itineraries. Mustique retains much of its original charm due to the restrictions it places on tour groups. We were taken around in a semi-formal tour by an official (allowed) guide, but we understand that private visitors are not allowed on Mustique without making formal arrangements to visit or without accommodation being pre-booked.
Mustique Sightseeing

Firefly Restaurant
We'd recommend that you sample some Mustique relaxation by taking lunch at the Firefly Restaurant on the island. The Firefly owner has met many famous people he's served over the years!
In the afternoon, after your leisurely brunch, take a trip to see Mick Jagger's Mustique villa or visit the many excellent beaches, before taking a ride back to the airport for the trip home (if you plan on just taking a day trip). Alternatively, you could book to stay in Mustique for a few days and enjoy some ultimate relaxation. For another Mustique holiday guide with more information on Mustique sightseeing:-
