North Point, Barbados is the most northerly point of the island.
The very strong trade winds at North Point make for dramatic waves most
of the year. In some cases waves can rise fifty or more feet up the
cliff. The result is very spectacular and it's well worth your while
taking your Camcorder to do some filming.
On very windy days it can be dangerous to go
into the Barbados Animal Flower Caves as waves enter the cave and you
would get very wet indeed (or worse!). In such cases, the caves may
close unexpectedly for safety reasons.
